Skeleton Key: Hurt’s Hands, not His Heels; The one that unlocks every door, the most important one, and the most difficult for Miami. IF the Dolphins can put enough pressure on Hurts and get him out of the pocket, yet keep him contained, forcing him to throw the ball and not take off on foot, that will benefit their defense immensely. Last week versus the Jets Hurts threw three interceptions. His first came off blitz pressure. His second the edge rusher got to him and hit his arm as he threw. The third pick came as the pocket was collapsing into him causing him to back pedal and throw off his back foot. But you have to keep containment. If Hurts squirts free consistently on 3rd down, especially on 3rd and long with good coverage down field and extends drives, it will rip the dorsal fin off this defense by the second half and eventually the offense won’t be able to keep up, even the number one offense in the league. Contain Hurts. This is on Fangio and the Defense. It is the most important element to beating this team, pressure, pressure, pressure.

Front Door: Go Over the Top; The next most important key, is the one that gets you into the house. The Dolphins need to test the Eagles deep. Every game this season Philadelphia has allowed multiple different receivers to have receptions of over twenty yards, in four of their six games they’ve allowed four different receivers to have catches of over fifteen yards, in five of six games they’ve given up receptions of over thirty yards. They are vulnerable deep. Not to brag, but, I would call that a strength of this Miami Dolphins team. Use it. Hopefully it will open up lanes for Mostert and company on the ground as well. But against the Eagles, it starts in the skies. Don’t listen to Stephen A’s garbage. His mouth proved he hasn’t watched any Tua tape or Fins’ film. I already gave my opinion here. Miami needs to test this secondary all day. #FlyEaglesFly may be their cry, but #CoverBirdsCover is their kryptonite.

Garage Door: Let someone else have a turn; Hill and Mostert (Achane would’ve been included as well but he is on IR) have been dominating the touches offensively, and though they both need to be featured, I believe others are going to have to step up to beat this Eagles team. The garage key is the one you tell your guests about, so they can let themselves in when they arrive before you to the house. It’s usually hanging on the side or hidden under the mat. Not sure how big a secret Waddle is, but he has been kept under wraps this season, it’s time to let the penguin swim with the porpoises. #SwimFinsSwim. All of them. Will Claypool be activated this week? Will Berrios get more targets? Ahmed or Brooks more carries? Will we see Smythe used in the Red Zone? Philly will have been preparing to corral Hill and Mostert, lets hope McDaniel can figure out a way to let the others in through the garage.

Bathroom: It’s an emergency; The key on top of the door jam, it’s only needed cause the kids locked the door from the inside and now you’re scrambling ready to break it down. When teams are this closely matched, at least on paper, the game is going to come down to the third team. That other unit that runs laps and fields kicks all day. It could be something as seemingly trivial as flipping the field, trapping them deep or as vital as a game clinching field goal. But this unit is going to have to knock off the cobb webs and get the job done. They came up big on a fake punt stop last week against Carolina, and this week versus the Philadelphia Eagles they will be required to make a couple plays. Sanders can’t afford a miss and the coverage unit can’t lollygag down field. Look at what happened on Monday Night in Los Angeles, a punt almost decided that game. I believe Special Teams will play a much bigger roll for Miami this week than it has the majority of the season thus far. Let’s Go Fins! #FinsUp.
