After 4 years of raving that the “orange ogre in the White House” was trying to be America’s first fascist dictator, comes the buffoon that is dictating. His edicts have covered everything from Health decisions, Open borders, Mask requirements, Evictions and foreclosures, and many more. This from the man that said “things you can’t do by executive order unless you’re a dictator. We’re a democracy. We need consensus.” Sad that the current Commander-in-Chief, the 46th President, the leader of the free world, does not know that the greatest country on earth, is not, in fact, a democracy. The Democrats throw this word around left and right “protect our democracy” “we’re a democracy” etc etc, the United States of America is a Constitutional Republic. We are not meant to be ruled by majority vote and especially not by majority thought. Every time a politician utters the phrase “we’re a democracy” be very careful, they mean to bull rush the Constitution and trample on your rights. You’ve no doubt heard the phrase “a democracy is 2 sheep and 3 wolves deciding what to eat,” well, this unfortunately is a very apt description. We have a constitution so that even if we find ourselves in this scenario, there is a wall, oh how wonderful walls are, separating over-reaching, power hungry, politicians from the people, that wall is the Constitution. Unfortunately, more and more the sentries in the barbican are allowing government to breach our last defense. The idea that “we the people” have responsibility over our own destiny, is being replaced by the notion that Government should be responsible for our equal misery.
This is perhaps the most important part of a President’s job “he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” Like them or not, it is a President’s duty to “execute” United States (federal) law. Executive orders do not supersede the Constitution. Corn Pop may have been a “bad dude” with a rusty razor, but Corn Prez has become a Destructive Dude with a barbaric ballpoint. President Biden’s abhorrent use of Executive Orders, Memos, Proclamations, and Notices total 274 non-legislative actions in less than 10 full months in office. These are innocuous as creating a new Federal Holiday, as devious as forcing employers to fire employees that do not comply with his vaccination initiative, and as destructive as his day one Orders on the Southern Border. Biden through fiat has opened our border, shut off our energy, and closed our economy. He has met some resistance at the Court level, lower courts have blocked his halting on deportation and evictions, but this administration has largely ignored them. Plowing forward with his BBB initiative. Instead of “Build Back Better” it should be Bungle Break Blame because that is all he has done since his inauguration. He has bungled COVID, speeches, and Afghanistan. He has broken the boarder, the economy, and American energy. All the while blaming Trump and us, American citizens. Blamed citizens for being abandoned in Kabul, blamed citizens for COVID spikes, and blames Trump for just about everything else, including COVID and Afghanistan. If Carter’s presidency was catastrophic, and Roosevelt’s was expansive then Joe has become Joe Cartervelt Biden.
When a President chooses laws to ignore, and enforces ideology as law, he has taken a colossal step towards tyranny and a gargantuan leap towards autocracy. The point of our Constitution was to limit government’s power. There is no freedom in government. The Founders knew this first hand, as do many immigrants and refugees to this beautiful country. Freedom doesn’t exist in China, in North Korea, in Cuba, Venezuela, and much of the middle east. Freedom requires the individual to be the sole determiner of their destiny. Government gobbles up power with the perception of assistance. Quid Pro Vote is what they do, until they have amassed enough power that elections are no longer needed. “No, this can’t happen here” yet, did you believe the government could, let alone would, ever force your employer to fire you for not taking medication? Did you ever imagine the government would abandon her citizens to torture and death abroad? Did you ever conceive they would monitor all your transactions? Write me off as a conspiracy nut, that is your prerogative, but, consider who determines what is conspiracy and what is concrete.
The last two democratic administrations vowed to “transform” America. Is this why you voted them in, to transform the greatest country in the world? To transform the freest country in the world? To transform the most inclusive country in the world? To transform the most equal country in world? To transform the most opportunistic country in the world? To transform the best economic country in the world? Where in the oath is a president tasked with transforming America?
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
When you’re at the bottom the saying goes: “there’s only one way to go but up,” America has proven when we’re at the top, there remains two directions; go higher, or decrease. Which direction do you believe we’d go if we “fundamentally transform?” This is not a call to rebellion, but to realization. Look what has transpired over 10 “short” months. The federalization of our education, our police, and our elections (if they get their way). The dollar has decreased, prices have increased, enemies have grown stronger, we have become weaker. When it comes to Cuba, Russia, North Korea and China, unlike Theodore, this Commander-in-Chief speaks softly and carries no stick.
